The Awards, designed by Scheed Cole and first presented in 2012, are fashioned as a golden film reel standing on an inscribed wooden base.  Awards will be presented for Best Jamaican and international features, shorts and documentaries, as well as several CINE JAMAICA awards for shorts, short features, animation and music videos.
